What does it mean to be a mentor with DFS Lab?
Mentors join our week-long bootcamps to team up with entrepreneurs. They offer guidance and direction as teams work through tough problems. During the bootcamp, your role as a mentor is to guide, teach and provoke participants so they are better equipped to attack big problems going forward.
What does it mean to be a partner with DFS Lab?
Our partnerships vary and we’re open to learning how we might make a successful partnership with your organization. We partnered with Business Finance for the Poor – Bangladesh to facilitate a bootcamp design sprint for their challenge fund, and offered our investment expertise to guide their investment decisions. We partnered with Women’s World Banking, CGAP, and the Women’s Financial Inclusion Community of Practice to launch an initiative to bring global investor attention to startups who are actively working to close the gender gap in financial inclusion. We’ve also partnered with the Gates Foundation on their Level One project to run a bootcamp/hackathon to develop use cases for Mojaloop – open source software to make payments inter-operable. If you have a need, we’re interested to discuss how a partnership with us might help you reach your goal.
