Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, DFS Lab and CoLab Kaduna are working in partnership to develop a program to harness the innovative potential of technology firms, developers, and startups in Kaduna State by building modern solutions to the challenges put forward by the people of Kaduna state, with the overall aim of catalyzing an inclusive digital ecosystem in Kaduna state.

The SCF Startup Camp is a virtual and global 4-day long bootcamp which connects startups (interested in) building on Stellar and/or Soroban (Stellar’s new smart contract platform). The bootcamp adopts a design-sprint model which enables participating teams to define a problem, storyboard a solution, and develop a rapid user-validated prototype.

The Mojaloop Bootcamp offers teams from around the world the opportunity to explore what’s possible with the Mojaloop technology- an open source code that lowers the cost to build, maintain and modify an inclusive instant payment system (IIPS) that brings affordable, connected digital financial services to anyone with access to a mobile phone. During the bootcamp, teams come in with their ideas and within four days, build real solutions to their tough business challenges.
